Dear Mr. XXXX,
In order to be in compliance with the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), SAU 41 annually notifies parents of their rights by publishing procedural guidelines in the Hollis Brookline Journal, since that publication is mailed to everyone's home. Beyond that, FERPA rights are mailed to parents upon request.
